A2/A2 Raw Jersey Milk
Our cows are all A2/A2 100% Jersey Cows. They are grass-fed with small amounts of Organic non-GMO grain fed during milking. No hormones used. Our pastures are never sprayed with harmful chemicals. Our cows have all been disease tested to ensure we have a clean herd. (including BLV). The milk is unpasteurized and will have a top layer of cream which is excellent for making butter, cheese, yogurt, ice cream and much more! Compared to other cow breeds, Jersey's specifically provide some of the best and highest percentage of cream available. We use a milking machine and then filter all the milk into our bulk cooling tank to ensure the milk is as sanitary as possible. Our bulk tank agitates and rapidly cools the milk to the perfect temperature in a matter of minutes. This process helps extend the shelf life of the milk.
It’s being sold in half gallon glass mason jars with plastic screw on lids. Each jar requires a $5 deposit. So the first gallon would end up costing $25. From then on, our customers bring back the old jars and we refill with fresh milk from our tank! Or you are welcome to return jars for a full refund. Pick up dates/times are fairly flexible as we seem to always be at the farm. 24 hour notice would be preferred though, especially if you are needing other products as well. We also occasionally meet people in Columbia on days that we know we will be in town.
